Janice Snearer has turned this l931 house into her dream Key West style cottage, complete with a tin roof and white picket fence. The welcoming front porch with its pineapple carvings and charming art pieces emphasizes the great attention to detail that Janice has given to her home.
An artist by trade, she has used her skills to transform the 1400 square foot Florida style house into one of Parrot Cove’s most eye-catching properties.
The garden which is usually filled with flowers beckons you to stop in and visit for awhile. The previous owners did most of the interior remodeling by removing the living room ceiling to create a cathedral-like open space. A loft was added which became a charming and fun guest bedroom.
Several years ago, Janice added a spacious sunroom onto the back of the house. Due to the natural light that filters into this space, Janice uses it as her studio. Janice is to be congratulated for enhancing the neighborhood with her charming home. As she puts it, "a small space can embrace you if done well."
