This beautiful property was built by Mr. Boutwell in 1949. The Boutwell family, well known for their generosity, has a street named after them in Lake Worth.

When Domenico Buccigrossi, the home’s third owner bought the house in the year 2000 and immediately began much needed renovations. Among the renovations were a new roof, central air conditioning, impact windows and hurricane shutters. A third bedroom was transformed into a luxury dining room which overlooks the golf course.

A beautiful etched glass front door opens into the living room with a fireplace. The hard wood floors are original as well the cypress ceiling and terrazzo floor in the Florida room. The master bathroom was remodeled using Italian onyx Marble and a step down tub with Jacuzzi. The second bathroom still retains its original tiles and beveled mirror were installed on all walls. The kitchen has been totally remodeled with extra kitchen cabinets and lovely granite counter tops and back splash from Brazil. You can admire Domenico’s proud collection of 18th century artwork and porcelain throughout the house.

Domenico’s vision of an Italian garden can be experienced here. Italian statues mingle with the Florida landscape, including the famous David by Michelangelo. Stepping out from the Florida room you are greeted by a pergola and a lovely koy fish pond with a waterfall. Domenico has hundreds of orchids and can explain every plant’s name and origin. Linger and smell the amazingly fragrant blooming tropical bushes all around you.
