TREE-GIVE-AWAY continues
More than 35 families benefited from the recent Parrot Cove Tree Giveaway, thanks to our neighborhood fundraising efforts - one of the many benefits of belonging! The neighbors who received trees also received Phil Weinrich's "How to Plant a Tree" article and 3 fertilizer stakes to help their trees along. Among the kinds of trees soon to be adding to our Parrot Cove canopy are Black Ironwood (the favorite), Gumbo Limbo, Pigeon Plum, Dahoon Holly, and Live Oak. Several people opted to wait until fall to get their tree.
If you did not get a tree, email Phil and Ann at trilliumwoods@earthlink.net and we will put your name on a list for October. If you're not a member, join now so you can get a tree!
